Nature or Humankind

Who wears it better?  The pansy (nature) or the hazmat symbol (humankind). I was given these two lovely pansies at our annual volunteer lunch for the hospital.  Beautiful.

Blue Birdie’s Funeral

Today we found a blue bird dead in the yard. We dug a hole and gave Blue Birdie a graveside funeral. His beautiful presence in the shrubbery will be missed. Blue Birdie was laid peacefully in the soft earth. Everyone attended. The cat watched from a distance, annoyed.

Hiding in the Hedgerow

This lovely lady was hiding in the hedgerow. We have so many lovely flowers in our yard, but no daffodils or tulips. So it was a treat when we spotted her. She looks like a peach flavored tulip. I hope many more propagate in the future. There can never be too many tulips.
